Game delay

Hello,

 

Really weird, but when I look at other peoples POV of killing me in games like CSGO2, they look like they have ages to kill me, but on my screen it's like I die instantly, this has been happening for ages and I am really unsure of what the problem is. I have tried reinstalling windows multiple times, not sure if it's hardware oriented. Just really clueless on what to do, it's really annoying me and playing games is pretty much impossible. I'll post my specs below;

 

100hz 1ms Monitor

i7-6700k

16gb DDR4 ram

rx 580 8gb

4x 256gb ssd

550w psu

 

If anyone has any knowledge on this I'd appreciate it.

 

I've also noticed in games like Roblox and Minecraft that when I get hit by a sword, it doesn't even look close, but from a POV of killing me, they're right next to me.

are you using an ethernet cable or wifi ? and do you have a good internet connection ? I had the same problem when I was playing very far away from the router with bad connection

I am using ethernet, I get 70 down, 15 up and 15ms ping

In a cs game I average 20ms ping

Sounds like a network level problem to me.

When I search this up in youtube for fixes it just says how to lower ping etc when I already have low ping

Also just installed a program that shows packet loss etc and it shows I have none of that

My network ping is 15ms when I run a speed test, in CS2 I get 20ms usually, max 25ms

It's really weird though cause my ping is always low and I'm using ethernet connection.

Yes that might be it. Playing a game against people who have a very fast connection. That does make an offset.
