Upgrading PC (Budget $1000 - $1200)

Budget (including currency): $1000-$1200

Country: United States (Located in Ohio with access to the Mayfield Heights Microcenter)

I'm looking to upgrade my current PC. I would be fine waiting for the new Nvidia cards to release.

I would honestly just start with the GPU, and see if you're still upset with performance. 9900K is still a really good chip.

your current pc seems pretty balanced tbh, it would be better to just build a brand new one at this point. Or get a good gpu now, which you will use after you make a new pc, but then it will degrade value over that time, so i don't think it's worth it

Hello... I have some different options for you. I have an Intel and AMD Build using PCPartPicker and one from MicroCenter. For the MicroCenter one don't forget about the Bundle Discounts that you will get for the CPU & Motherboard. I think it's like $50 off.

Please let me know what you think.

I have been building PCs for over 30 years so if you have any questions please ask. For future communication I use Discord for much faster response times as I have it open 24/7. Here is my Discord: Wizardsnapper#2772 I am also available if you need help before, during, or after the Build process on Discord through Voice or Video Chat. I can be with you while you build your new PC if you need me to be.

If I were to upgrade my CPU what do you think I should upgrade to? I plan on gifting the 2070 & 9900k to my sister for her new build.

the 7500f is a good choice, because you get pretty good upgradability
