I have a chinese x79 motherboard, since its a cheap chinese x79 it doesnt really have accurate vrm sensor so i use a thermometer to measure the heatsink. I know that the mosfets is alot hotter than the heatsink, but all i wanted to know is this temp safe if my vrm heatsink is 45c?

45c is not a lot for motherboard VRM.

Looks good to me 🙂

VRMs can usually handle temperatures of up to 100°C, so 45°C is way down in the safe zone. If the VRMs end up overheating, they should normally throttle or in extreme cases shut off.

English is not my first language, so please excuse any confusion or misunderstandings on my end, also I like to edit my posts a lot.
