The witcher 3 stuttering

I first played witcher 3 in my pc back in 2018 and i played it just fine without any issues. I recently tried replaying but it keeps stuttering. Can't figure out where exactly is the issue. 

I didn't use this pc as frequently as i did back then so i tried cleaning it as best as i can which kinda helped but the issue is still there. 

Need help in figuring out where exactly is the issue.

That's an issue with Witcher 3's next gen update. If you have MSI Afterburner, you might notice a lot of frame time spikes in the graph. What usually helps is limiting the frame rate to something slightly below the maximum your GPU can reach.

If Next Gen patch is an issue there is a easy way to lunch a game without it.
