Choice between CRT TVs

Hey y'all,

I'm looking at getting an old CRT to hook up a VCR and a couple old gaming consoles to. I've sorta narrowed myself down to three units, and I'm just wondering if anyone who knows a bit more about CRTs could advise me which of the units would be a better choice. Appreciate any help hahah!! 😀

Option One

LG Flatron CT-15Q91KEX (15")

- Has two 3RCA inputs, one coax antenna input, and one 3RCA output

- 75W unit made in Indonesia

- Photos here

Option Two

NEC N-3480 (13ish")

- Has two 2RCA inputs, and one coax antenna input

- 57W unit made in Korea

- Photos here

Option Three

Sharp CX51G4 (20")

- Has two 2RCA inputs, one coax antenna input, and one 2RCA output

- 84W unit assembled in Australia

- Photos here

I'm leaning towards the LG, but I've heard mixed reviews about LG Flatron CRTs. Likewise, I have also heard mixed reviews about Korean-built units, but can't find much about NEC ones. The Sharp one seems okay I guess, except for the fact that it's a big unit, and also for my inability to find much information about that particular model online.

I would get the Sharp 20" one, I think it would be the better choice. You can head over to r/crtgaming on reddit for better advice. But always keep in mind that it's nice to dream about CRTs but they are incridibly heavy, some old units could be very stinky, and finding a place for them in your house is very difficult.

I would probably look for a Sony Trinitron if ever tho
