I have an gtx 1080 with 8gb vram and an core i5 9400. i thought i had an bottleneck and it says i do on the Bottleneck Calculator site from Pc Builds (17% bottleneck to be exact). but when i check my GPU usage its at 99% when i play games like far cry 5 and i have to rum the game on a low rez and the graphics on low, i checked the recommended system Requirements and it looks like my game should run fine but its not. my drivers are up to date so idk what the actual problem is.

what is your average framerate? also what ram speed?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

my average frames really just depend on the game but it cant run any game on 1920x1080 for example far cry 4 i played it on normal settings getting around 60fps but i just changed my rez to the lowest one. my ram speed is 3200mhz i got an CORSAIR 16GB Vengeance

how's the GPU temperature during gaming? do you have any benchmark software?

Is Vsync on in most of the games?

Check the temps and clocks and report back after.

Turn it off.

Also, do yo have a 60Hz monitor?

There are some good reasons to have Vsync on, but for this purpose turn it off.

pretty normal temps, have you tried vsync off? it restricts framarete, not sure how it works on high Hz monitors, and how well does 1070 handle over 60Hz monitors of Vsync, if it locks at 60 or at the exact Hz rate of the monitor

in farcry it just locks at 60 but when i play on all low at 1920x1080 i have about 24 fps when i should have a lot more. my cpu runs at 60% and sometimes it goes to 100% my gpu is running at 100% with normal temps

Something is seriously wrong with this system. Can you please share a list of the exact specifications of the computer? If it's not a prebuilt, please provide a pcpartpicker list, and if it is a prebuilt, please share the link to the original product
