NewbieLol910

Hello, I wanted to ask if I need to unplug everything out of my pc when replacing the cpu cooler like 8pin, 24pin and stuff like that, or do I just unplug the pc powersupply and that's it? I hope i wrote it understandably

Unplug the PSU from the wall. You don't even have to do that, just turn the PSU off ( button ).

Thats all you need 🙂

Yah I tried but sadly it’s too hard to install it without removing the motherboard, and I don’t want to do that since then I won’t be able to install it back so just going to have to stick with the stock cooler sadly

Well I can’t put the pc straight on it’s back since the backplate will just fall out and then it’s hard to put the metal plate on without it sliding off since the pc is like turned a bit

It’s fine I think I’ll just try to get someone else to install it, I’ve already got the stock cooler in

I saw all of that 🙂

Super easy. Unplug all of your cards, unplug the cables, unscrew the 8 or 9 screws that are holding the board down, lift board straight out, done like dinner 🙂
