On  right side of motherboard there are status leds towards bottom of the ram sticks. What leds are lit?

Also note, AM5 has long boot times so you may not get a display for while.

Ah I know what you're talking with the lights. Right now I have one ram stick put in and it's the farthest from the CPU, I plan on putting the second one in later. When I first start it off, the red light is on the cpu, then dram, then it ends with constant light on VGA. I searched up red light on VGA and it makes sense since I don't have it put in yet.

As for a long boot time, how long is that because I didn't wait that long.

Not sure, it tends of vary. Usually to do with memory training.

The fact it is held on vga means it cant detect a video signal. If your monitor has multiple hdmi ports ensure you have the correct input source selected from your monitors osd. Try different hdmi cable / DisplayPort if suported

I switched the HDMI cable and the DP and still got hdmi not found. Do you think I should wait and maybe it will work or could it be a CPU problem?

Yes, 7800X3D has an integrated gpu. Should be fine as a stop gap with low/mid 1080p gaming until you can afford your gpu upgrade

You won't be able to do any gaming on the 2 cu 7800X3D GPU.

It's a basic display kindoff deal.

OP have to updated the motherboard BIOS?

It won't work with the 7800X3D unless it's been updated because that motherboard came out before the X3D cpu did.
