Is a 1080ti Still good in 2023?

I was running a 4790k until 2022, its a good quad core. Long in the tooth for sure, but if you are getting it for dirt cheap as well as the 1080 Ti, I think should run fine as a 1080p rig, maybe drop some settings in newer games, depending on what you play.

 

That said, 4790 is turning 10 years old and 1080 Ti is turning 7 years old, so I hope you are getting this for basically nothing as it doesn't make much sense to buy this old of stuff.

I got the cpu, mobo, ram, storage  that old gpu, all for free. the only thing I will be buying myself is the 1080ti. The build in its current state is below.

My Laptop: Dell Latitude e5410, Tiny 11, 8gb ram, i5-450m 120 gig SSD.
