Can't start adolby atmos on a sonos arc soundbar

my friend got a new Sonos arc soundbar, connected it to the hdmi arc port and the soundbar works, but for some reason it won't let her activate adolby atmos on it, she has an LG c1 and has already activated support eARC in the advanced audio menu.

Dolby Atmos isn't a setting.

It's kind of a container for audio channels. Play some media with Dolby Atmos and see if it works. If the media doesn't have Atmos, then it will play some different Dolby codec it was mastered with.

 

Think about it in reverse.

Listening to music isn't going to give you Dolby Surround sound because music is mastered in 2-channel

(probably a bad analogy since music wouldn't use Dolby codecs anyway)
