How on earth do I install 750ti drivers on ubuntu 23.04 server

I've tried so many things. The drivers either fail to install or dont work. I need them to get hardware transcoding for jellyfin to work

You'll probably need to use an older distro, AFAIK these ancient GPUs aren't supported anymore. But a 750ti is also too old to be of much use in jellyfin.

Ah ok, It should be able to do 1080p h.264 though. Will my core i7 4770 with Intel HD 4600 work on ubuntu 23.04?

Intel should likely work since the have open source drivers, unlike Nvidia.

Yeah, I was thinking that could be the issue. Does AMD have open source drivers? I never have problems finding those for linux

Yeah, they do. So they usually work without having to install anything. Their open source drivers are included in the kernel (though there's also closed source drivers)

Thats awesome. I've always hated Nvidia for not doing that. Makes everything harder

Yeah but pretty much anything can play that natively already, so no need for transcoding.
