Sharkoon Rebel p30 good or bad ? (maybe a wentai oem)

Go to solution Solved by --SID--,

It's to new to be on the Tierlist. The list isn't updated since april 11th 2023.

Sharkoon usually use High Power/Sirfa for their higher end PSUs so it wouldn't surprise me if they went with that OEM too for this unit.

Edit: this is the Sharkoon Rebel P30 1000w. For a review see https://elchapuzasinformatico.com/2023/09/sharkoon-rebel-p30-gold-review/#interior-y-componentes and https://www.nikktech.com/main/articles/pc-hardware/power-supplies/14212-sharkoon-rebel-p30-1000w-atx-3-0-power-supply-unit-review

and this is the High Power HP1-O21000GD-F14C

Here's a review of the High Power https://hwbusters.com/psus/highpower-hp1-021000gd-f14c-psu-review/ .

Nothing wrong with it.

Well just as the title states does anyone know if this psu (at the 1000 or 1300w) is anygood?. there are no reviews and it is not on the tierlist.

from what i could find it that some user speculated that the psu might be a rebrand wentai psu. but that also doesnt ring any bells for me. any input ?

Do not get any PSU that isn't a recognizable brand - get something from a reputable brand, like Corsair or EVGA.

it is what it is

Main PC

NAS

Intel Core i3-7100 | ASUS Z270M Prime Plus | 16GB 2x8 DDR4 | 256GB Samsung SSD | 4x2TB WD Blue HDDs | TrueNAS Scale

Windows XP Gaming Rig

Intel Xeon E5-2620 | 32GB 8x4 DDR3-1600MHz | ASUS P9X79 LE | GTX 960 | 500GB HDD | Windows XP Professional

It's not Wentai. High Power is the OEM.
