Question about fedora Server using Nano pack

aboeman

Hello!

I found myself a new hobby and started to "try" and make my own server using an old laptop running fedora server.

Now i am pretty handy and i know how google and YouTube works but sometimes it just doesn't give an answer.

For example

Right now I am trying to change the value of my laptop lid so that  I can close it without shutting down my fedora server.

I installed the nano pack and changed the values accordingly and need to save it,

how do i safe it? what name should i give it etc.

Is there someone who knows alot and also enthusiastic enough to learn me some things via discord chat?

I promise i wont spam u all day long, but i could really use a hand getting somethings explained!

Thank u in advance u amazing people

Nano should automatically save file name, as shown at the bottom where it says "File Name to Write: /etc/systemd/logind.conf".

Ctrl + S should save the file as it is, and then you should be good to go.

Ctrl + O
Or Ctrl + X, if changes were made nano will ask him if he'd like to save before exiting.
