Local Disk D is Primary Partition and Local Disk C is not.

DevihX

Hello Everyone,

I was fixing my other pc (PC2)  and I manage to fix its hard disk and I have noticed its Local Disk D is primary partition, is that okay?

What I did in PC 2:

Removed HDD

install new Windows in SSD

Formatted HDD ( HDD was File record was unreadable )

Delete Local Disk D in Boot install (because I wasn't able to do it in windows)

Created a 2 Partition in Local Disk D (because its unallocated)

PC 1. This is my Current PC what I am using, I checked here and local disk D is my primary partition but everything is fine.

PC2. This is new formatted PC, and my Disk 1/ Local Disk C is not a primary partition.

IIRC, Primary Partition thing means the disk is in MBR.
