Which EVGA PSU: 750 GT Gold or 850 GQ Gold?

Both are solid B tier units and either can easily power that system, nothing is concerning there.

Intel i5-12600k

Asus ProArt B760-Creator D4

RipJaws V 64 GB

MSI Ventus 2x Geforce RTX 3060 12GB

This is going to be my niece's computer, and I still need to choose a cooler as the person who donated the Asus ODD, DIYPC case and 5 120mm Phanteks fans (I haven't been able to identify them as there's no model number) couldn't come through with the cooler. I'm not worried about the cooler, though - I have a few that should work fine.

So would the 750 GT or 850 GQ be okay, or would one be definitely better? I don't imagine that she'll upgrade the GC anytime soon as her financial situation isn't good but I have no problem giving her whichever - I bought the 750 and the other family member gave the 850 for this big surprise to help her move from physical to graphic arts, and possibly do remote employment.

Whichever one I keep will be used for testing and probably, eventually, a second computer devoted to testing only.
Thank you, Black Friday!

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂

both will do just fine though

Thanks to you both!

I had looked at other PSUs on sale but all of the other ones were really crappy, so I went with B.
