unconventional question

Hey everyone I have a bit of an unconventional question to ask I am a student taking a photography class and as part of my final I am supposed to create a portfolio with 15 to 20 pictures in it my topic is on destroying electronics basically as I have a whole bunch of old electronics laying around. I am at 14 out of the 15 and some of those are ones that are duplicates what I mean by that is the professor told me that he wants photos to be from different angles or same angle but have different subject matter (you'll see what I mean when you see the photos) my final is due tomorrow at the end of class so that means I have Time to print things out but I am kind of out of ideas of things to destroy and how to destroy them so any ideas on things to destroy or how to destroy them would be appreciated the link at the bottom of the page is for OneDrive as most of the photos are too big to attach

Well, the fun american way to destroy old technology is to shoot it... Have you ran over anything with a car or dropped it from super high up? Thrown anything at a cinderblock wall? Might be neat to make some things catch on fire by forcing too much power into it. Just remember to be safe and don't hurt yourself.

That's fair I can understand why you wouldn't want to click the link as far as shooting it goes I had tried that with a BB gun and air rifle the problem I was running into is I don't have the right equipment to trigger the flash camera shutter and the time and cost it was going to take to get the right equipment was more than I was willing to put in (the correct tool cost roughly $250 and would take about two weeks to get here) I do like the idea of forcing too much power into the components though

Ahh, are you wanting pictures of the actual damage occurring? My suggestion of shooting it (yee haw kentucky) was moreso the idea of taking a picture of the aftermath 🙂

I really like these. If you have a CPU/mobo that still works you should try to cook a smore on the CPU (without heatsink of course) as one of the pictures.

Believe it or not the one with the tower cooler heat sink still works even after being on fire I'll definitely give that one a try
