Hey Guys,

I am having a weird problem. I am unable to capitalize d using the left shift key. I tested it out the left shift key works with all the other keys including the numbers, but not d. The right shift key works with all the keys including d, as does my Caps Lock. That being said, I mainly use my left shift when typing so I would like to get it working again. I have a EVGA Z12 keyboard with all up to date drivers. I have already restarted my machine twice. Also, when I use Left Shift + d, nothing appears not even a lower-case d. The cursor would just blink without doing anything. I also tested it in different applications; Edge, Chrome, Word. Same result.

Did you try the keyboard on a different device?

Do you have another keyboard to test with? Sounds like a weird sort of hardware defect to me.

I tested with another keyboard, and yes it works. But it isn't a gaming keyboard and this just happened yesterday. It was working fine for the past 2 years, so I am unsure as to what caused it.

I tested with another keyboard, so I thought the problem is with mine. But the keyboard is working fine on a laptop. it appears the problem is only when I connect it to my computer.
