PC File Permissions?

Hi all,

Whenever i try save a file from any app to any of the main folders on my c drive (eg Pictures, Downloads) i get the error, 

I have tried googling to no avail. Please help!

Are you the user "there"  (from  C:\Users\there\Documents ... ) 

 

If you're not, log in as user there, or log in as administrator and add your user to the permissions of that folder. 

 

The error message tells you that, the files were created by the user "there" and the folder "there" in C:\users is the windows profile for that user, and other users are not allowed to modify those files.

There is my account and its the only account on the computer 

This is the error i get when i try change permissions, its the same for every file
