is the Intel I9 14900k worth it? what other CPU recommendations do people have?

Unless you want a high wattage heater with your CPU I wouldn't bother with the 14900K for the most part.

Go AMD if you want good performance out of the box and efficiency. (Less heat/less power draw) It's also cheaper.

Go Intel if you want a bit higher of a boost clock at the exchange of more heat/more power)

i suppose i should have asked what title , not what settings. you can imagine pong running at 1440p ultra on most computers vs cyberpunk2077
