Is RTX 4070/4070 TI or RTX 4080 better to get?

They aren't same price!!

Best perf = higher price = 4080

But if you consider price to perf, 4070 is better

What is your use case? Just gaming?

If it is just gaming, AMD currently offers the better bang for the buck (IMO). You miss out on DLSS (FSR is almost as good) and some raytracing performance, but you get better traditional rendering performance and more vram.

The 7800XT is the direct competitor for the 4070. It's currently about $50 cheaper and about 5% faster at traditional rendering and 5% slower in raytracing.

The 7900XT is the 4070Ti competitor. it's currently about $10 more expensive and is 10% faster at traditional rendering and it's about level in raytracing (or atleast that is what I'm seeing looking at newer benchmarks on youtube, it varies wildly depending on the game, it appears that the wins for AMD in this battle are coming as a result of the 4070Ti only having 12GB of vram).

The 7900XTX is the 4080 competitor. it's currently about $300 cheaper and is about 5% faster at traditional rendering and 7% slower at raytracing.

Common build advice:

1) Buy the cheapest (well reviewed) motherboard that has the features you need. Paying more typically only gets you features you won’t use. 2) only get as much RAM as you need, getting more won’t (typically) make your PC faster. 3) While I recommend getting an NVMe drive, you don’t need to splurge for an expensive drive with DRam cache, DRamless drives are fine for gamers. 4) paying for looks is fine, just don’t break the bank. 5) Tower coolers are usually good enough, unless you go top tier Intel or plan on OCing. 6) OCing is a dead meme, you probably shouldn’t bother. 7) "Bottlenecks" rarely matter and "Future-proofing" is a myth. 8) AIOs don't noticeably improve performance past 240mm and don't improve at all past 360mm. 9) RTFM.

Yes, but they have worse RT and FSR instead of DLSS (the latter is better looking)

So the 7900XT isn't really worth it over a 4070Ti at same price unless you need the 20GB VRAM (which is rare), but the 7900XTX is a solid choice with 4080 level odf raster  performance and 24GB fast VRAM for $200 less

Which 4070 should I get then because I can't really choose  from all these options on my own?

Really any, cheapest one or cheapest 3 fans one  (reduced noise and thermals)

Apart from  that they all perform pretty similarly and the  most expensive aren't  worth the money, to gain only a couple % performance
