If I do then what psu should I get? I also don't want to spend a lot of money on the psu because most of it is going to go to my gpu.

My current build is Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, GeForce RTX 3060 12GB, Cooler Master MasterBox Pro 5 RGB ATX Mid Tower - PCPartPicker

You don't have to upgrade but it'd be better to cuz that's a C Tier

What you could do is try the 7900 xtx with that psu and do a stress test (like a game that you normally play) and if it crashes then get a new one, preferably an A Tier

Message me on discord (bread8669) for more help

That 750W unit is really going to be pushing it, especially because it's not that great of a PSU to begin with - it's rated C-Tier on the PSU Cultists list, so not a bomb, but not amazing.

Does it even have three 8-pin PCIe power cables? Most RX 7900XTX models use three 8-pins, only a few use just two 8-pins.

It has four PCIe 6+2 pin connectors. Did you lose one of the PCIe cables?

:)
