Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Some basic minecraft and casual switch emulation

Other details:  H310 motherboard, i3 9100 CPU, 16gb ran, ssd sata 512gb, 500w power supply

What's your budget?

Generally I am inclined to recommend just buying the best GPU you have the budget for and not worrying about "bottlenecks" because if you try to "match" them then you can get stuck in a cycle of buying a kinda-crappy GPU for the sake of your CPU followed by a kinda-crappy CPU for the sake of the GPU.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Please specify the EXACT make and model of your psu.

The i3 you have is a pure 4 core cpu. Basically anything since like 2018 of the aaa games doesnt run well on it. Todays games run pretty terrible on a pure 4 core cpu.

For minecraft it'll do swirch emulation probably ok.

Whats the budget for the gpu?

I'm not very familiar with the hardware needed for Switch emulation, is it really that light?
