SFF build for collage Gaming and CAD

Budget (including currency): unsure as of now but hopefully less than the current part list

Country: US West cost. far from micro center =(

Games, programs, or workloads that it will be used for: a heavy CAD workload with a lot of CAM, heavy and long blender renders, and other demanding games that eat resources

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I want this to hopefully be a water-cooled build because it has to run in the same room as me while I sleep, the programs I use absolutely eat RAM and GPU mem and do need to run for long periods of time while remaining quiet if you want to know anything else let me know

this is the build which is almost one for one of this build https://pcpartpicker.com/b/hC27YJ
which in itself is based on the Ion by optimum tech

and the tailwind from machines and more

I mean cheap, performant, quiet and small is a REALLY hard combi and always expensive.

Also this is a quite outdated pc and a lot of newer stuff is way better for less.

Also for example a noctua edition rtx card runs very quiet and is a good option I will make a build in a matx case.

There is a lot of info and if I’m honest I haven’t looked all components but for what I’ve just seen, I think u should probably be better with a newer gpu, maybe a 7900XT? Also the ram u choosed has crazy high latency maybe consider Cl32 for 6000Mhz or for 5200Mhz Cl30 or less.

I'm sorry if i made any spelling mistakes, i'm not an English speaker.

Ryzen 7 5700G @ 4.2GHz All Core. Aorus Elite V2. 2x8Gb 3600MHz CL17. Nfortec Aegir X. Nfortec Nervia.

No gpu acceleration for rendering what so ever that is functional

Saved 1000

Got you a better 12900k and a 4080 in the budget. Tho that 4080 is MASSIVELY overpriced.

Nice thing tho is that a 4070ti already beats a 3090 by a little bit and a 4080 does so by a lot. These cards are incredibly energy efficient and have WAY too big coolers. So by simply adjusting the fan profile a normal one that is running at like 35db 60c can run at like 27db 70c.

All quiet stuff

Might wanna add some arctic p12 fans instead of the stock focus g fans.

Also another trick earplugs. You'll want them anyways at college as people are LOUD.

Be glad.

custom watercooling especially in an itx case SUCKS to set up 😛 and then the maintenance form time to time.

Big suck really.

But I do recommend you just get a regular 4080 tell it to run a bit hotter so the fans run quieter. The noctua is good out of the box but you pay a HEFTY premium

A build with a OVERKILL cooled 4080. Feel free to move the case around if you like something else just make sure it's MESH and NOT the Q300l from cooler master :p. That one has a lot of obstructive metal.

Storage add what you need. It's a placeholder.
