Rtx 3070 or 2080ti for 1080p gaming?

Well i was using rtx 2080ti with my ryzen 5 5600 for quite some time.. but recently my 2080ti died.. i am getting a really good deal for 3070 from my friend .. should i expect similar performance from 3070 as well? I game on 1080p.. and the games i usually play

Fortnite

 

And some other CPU intensive games.

Yeah, very similar performance on the cards   The 3070 is sliightly slower in most game but we are talking a couple of frames at most, nothing major and not really anything you would notice during gameplay.

Yeah but 3070 has some features like resizable bar.. it does make a slight difference.. where as 2080ti doesn't have these features.. i thin after enabling resizable bar for 3070.. 3070 and 2080ti would be pretty similar

Sure. They are close enough in performance anyways. Such powerful cards and you say you game at 1080p, you won't really notice a difference between 240 or 244 fps The 2080 ti does have 11GB of Vram compared to the 8GB on the 3070 but again that shouldn't be much of an issue.

So yeah, get that 3070 and continue gaming like nothing have changed!
