welcome to Youtubes way of varifying that all views are real and none are bots

 

after 300 views (but can be 301-304) they cut the counter and verify all the views and a day or something later they show the real views. but the like counter keeps going

If you hover over it, it should say that the views are being verified. Essentially though, to stop people using view bots and such like, they go though very complicated statistical analysis after 301 views to see whether the views are all real. Likes are not treated in the same way, so increase faster.
