Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:
Gaming: Warzone, Call of Duty MW, total war games, rust, dayz.
Professional use: general data science and coding use. The only strict requirement is an NVIDIA card for machine learning. I need nothing extreme as I use a M1 MacBook Pro daily.
OS: Windows and maybe Linux dual boot

Other details This is my first build and I would like a clear upgrade path with space to grow in the future. 1440p gaming in the 60 frame range up to 100ish in the 1080p range on medium/high settings respectively would be great. 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage are my thoughts. You could get a 7800 xt for 1440p with 2tb of storage and 32gb of ram

For the price of that new 7700xt you can get a used 3080ti instead

And you can also get a quality used 750/850w gold like the rm(x) or equivalent for around 40-60£ which is highly reccomended (a must if you get a used 3080ti/3090)
