My dad's office PC keeps turning off after only a few minutes of being on. It has a Ryzen 3400G with the stock cooler. I initially assumed it was due to overheating so I replaced the cooler with a new one but it didn't help. I checked the temps with the CPU under load but they were fine.

So here's the thing, he smokes a lot and his ashtray sits right beside the tower on his desk. Could the smoke have choked up the power supply and that's why it's turning off? It's the only thing I can think of after replacing the cooler. Any help would be appreciated.

Random bluescreens are usually a sign of unstable RAM. Second hand smoke alone wont kill electronics.

The computer has been running fine for the past year. I was thinking maybe the PSU is overheating and that's what's causing the instability.
