Hi guys,

I just built my first ever PC recently, Motherboard is ASRock B550 PRO4 and CPU is Ryzen 7 5800x.

I have 2x8gb 3200mhz cl16 G.skill Ripjaws memory set.

When I try to boot, all the rgb turns on but it doesn't display anything.

The post status checker on the mobo says that theres a problem with my CPU and/or DRAM.

I tried removing my 1 ram stick but still the problem persists.

Any solutions?

Tried updating BIOS yet ?

It's a bit of a long shot considering what year it is, but eh, I can't make sure you didn't get a real old stock of MB either.

I just found out that the RAM I have is not on the QVL list of the B550 PRO4.

I doubt it's the Ram. Even more at stock settings.

Does it say Bios version on the box ?

Ain't written but I think its V1.6B

I can't find no V1.6B but ...if your Bios is lower than 1.80 then you might need an older cpu to update the bios...
