Asrock 990FX Extreme 3 RAM Issue!?

Hello people of the Linustechtips forum!

I got myself a new set of ram to add to my current set of 2x2gb, these are the EXACT same model as the ones I have in my pc atm. (Corsair CM3X2G1333C9) I had 2 2GB sticks in before and they worked fine, but adding in the other 2 sticks seems to have messed things up...

First boot it was fine but windows showed 4GB was hardware reserved and the system was running EXTREMELY laggy, as in the mouse was laggy too...

Next boot I swapped the 2 new sticks over and windows showed 6GB usable and 2GB reserved and no laggy mouse anymore, great!

Then it all went to hell... It rebooted randomly and started doing what I like to call the "3 beeps of death" which I've figured out to be a "Oh no! Your RAM is an Apple product running Android!" To get into the BIOS to sort it I had to remove the new sticks... I spent about an hour going around trying different combinations of ram sticks and nothing worked. All 4 sticks would run but very temperamental and only in single channel with 4GB hardware reserved (If it even got past POST).

Annoying thing is about it all... They're the EXACT same sticks as each other and this is a very new board (About 2 months old) and running Minecraft + Chrome fills 4GB in minutes for me... Feed the beast is like cramming bread into a usb port... So any advice in this would be a huge help!

Thanks in advance to you awesome people! :D

Sly.

I ran Memtest86+ (4.2 from an ubuntu usb) and everything passed, I tried each stick on its own rotating between slots to check those too and all 4 sticks at once.

Reset my CMOS and now the bios shows al four sticks in dual channel, before it only showed single channel which is good.

So far so good once i got into Windows stability-wise but i seem to still have 4GB hardware reserved, not sure what's causing this. A few people online suggest reinstalling Windows or enabling memory remapping in the BIOS but I don't have that option :(
