Will getting a new gpu benefit my current computer?

Will getting a new high end gpu for this build cause any issues esp. bottlenecks (I meant the ones that give you a worst/noticeable performance not the "minor ones). On one of my prevous threads, it's been suggested that I get a new GPU to enhance my build and its performance (in games like arma 3, tarkov, and starfield) while some others say that upgrading only that will cause a bad bottleneck (not just a minor one) with the 5800x cpu.

Budget is under 500 dollars or less if I'm able to obtain it on cyber monday (not in too much of a rush right now)

A 5800X is only one generation old and an absolutely fine cpu.

Few questions.

What's your budget?

What's your resolution?

What's the rest of your specs ( PSU , RAM,  SSD etc?

1. 500 dollars as stated in the OP

2.1080p

3. The rest of my specs should listed in the OP

5800x will be able to handle all games you throw at it with even the rtx 4070ti and maybe 4080. for 1080p, you wouldnt benefit much more then a 4060ti if your trying to buy new, but i would buy a used 3080 for maybe 350-370 dollars with enough patience. or you could just do buy it now for like 400 dollars. the 3080 will handle all 1440p as well if you were to upgrade your monitor.

Upgrading the GPU will cause a BAD bottleneck? WTF...?

No, that CPU can handle a much more powerful GPU without introducing much of a CPU bottleneck.

Right now, between the CPU and GPU, the 5700XT is the "weaker" between the two.

Get a 7900XT / XTX even, and the 5800X will do fine.

I've got a system running a 5800X + RTX 3060Ti (got it during the peak of GPU shortage).

I'll eventually get a RTX 4070 / 4070Ti or 4080 for it. 1440p resolution.

Well one of the users did state this (please do not harrass or go argue with this person please), which confused me as many other users stated otherwise (yes below is a screenshot, not an actual text)

The thing is that the 5700XT is still a fairly good GPU so at 1080p you really don't need much more.

Are you getting low fps in those games or just have an itch to upgrade?

More of an itch to upgrade to push more performance for my system
