How Do I Control RGB & ARGB on Asus TG H670 Pro Wifi D4

RevGAM

Because of the very annoying, some might even say malware-like, behavior of Asus Armoury Crate, I have removed it, AI Suite, and so on. As a consequence, using my RGB strip header and ARGB header is problematic.聽 I've downloaded both SignalRGB and OpenRGB. The former has not been able to do anything with those headers. I tried experimentally adding a couple of Asus devices (RGB strip and ROG LED something) but that didn't help. All I got was the two fans remained one solid color. The latter, with messing with settings, has been able to provide better control, although it's a bit odd. I've never worked with this sort of software before, aside from iCUE - which doesn't have any control over my headers despite the arrangement with Asus for Aura control (except via the lighting node in my 5000x).

Looking for good advice from the LED fans out there on how to best manage the LEDs. Is there an Asus driver I need to install? Do I need to change the Aura BIOS setting?

TIA!

Not the ones I currently have plugged in. The case's SP120 RGB Elites are controlled via the lighting node. I have an Akasa Vegas R7 plugged into the RGB strip header and a Zalman SF120 plugged into the ARGB header. The difference with both running the same effect via OpenRGB is significant, but I use the SP120s with the iCUE "Temperature" setting and when I choose that those LEDs turn off. No idea how to get the Akasa and Zalman to do anything with SignalRGB, and no Temperature option for the SP120s.

Do you have any suggestions?

I use OpenRGB, or I use the standalone Asus Aura app. Might be a little harder to find that one. I don't have a link, sorry.
