Worth upgrading Cpu or nah?

The cpu upgrade is for mainly gaming. However its possible that any future CPU upgrade has little benefits with maybe an exception to the 5800x3d. Just want a cpu that performs good for the games below and good price perf ratio

 

Games that I want to perform better (performance with old cpu is good but I feel like I can push more better perf out of it with a better cpu)
-Tarkov (streets and lighthouse are known to tank fps)
-Starfield
-Arma 3

A GPU upgrade will likely make more sense than a CPU upgrade.

Thats what i keep hearing but prob would just focus on my gpu for now but will focus on getting that in the future

The 5700XT is being bottlenecked by that 5800X a tiny bit on 1080p.

Upgrading the GPU would result in a worse experience (a huge CPU bottleneck resulting in stutters, frame drops, and variable frame times).

Upgrading the CPU would allow a GPU upgrade to a mid-range card if keeping the low-end resolution. 

The 5800X can feed a mid-range GPU on 1440p without significant bottlenecking unless in some CPU-intensive games.  

The 5800X3D can feed a mid-range GPU on 1080p and a high-end card on 1440p.

 

So you can keep the CPU, and upgrade the monitor and GPU.

Or you can, if you have to, keep the monitor but upgrade the CPU and the GPU.

And you can sidegrade the GPU to a 6600XT, 7600XT, 6650XT, 6700 10GB and keep everything as is with having newer features and a lower power draw and new warranty.
