Best AMD for 3d cpu?

Hi so i shoe AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D    and
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D Now I'm wondering what the best platform for this cpu?

my specs are 

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Processor (6C/12T, 35MB Cache, 4.2 GHz Max Boost)
Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Edition Heatsink & Fan Black & White Intel & AMD Sockets
PowerColor AMD RX 580 8GB DDR5 RED DEVIL Graphics Card Gaming Version (AXRX580 8GBD5-3DH/OC)
Kingston KHX3600C18D4/16GX 4 Sticks 64gb total
Intel 660p M.2 2280 512GB PCI Express 3.0 NVMe Internal Solid State Drive Rev:4.00 (OS DRIVE) (2019/08/09 sticker date) 
Corsair CX550F RGB
fractal Pop Silent

I am going to reuse most of the parts only the motherboard and CPU I'm upgrading just now.

Need help in the platform to put this on.

Also, I have 2 bad as-us mothers and one dead-on-arrival gigabyte board for B550 I'm now thinking I should look at maybe a few platforms above B550.

Also, one ram stick has gone bad and I'm processing rma also.

I need your help in the platform to put this CPU in would the rising 7 5800X3D be better CPU to buy?

Ryzen 3600, 5600X3D and 5800X3D are on the same socket + platform.

Motherboard that can work with Ryzen 3600 will work with both X3D CPUs, but recommended to use a higher-grade B450 if planning for 5800X3D.

Most B550 and X570 should be OK.

 

You cannot use 600-series (i.e. B650, B650E, X670, X670E) motherboard for Ryzen 5600X3D and 5800X3D.

Ryzen 5000-series is socket AM4, while 600-series motherboards are socket AM5 for Ryzen 7000-series.

 

As for 5600X3D vs 5800X3D, what are you using the PC for?
Gaming? Work? Video editing? Which games?

My first question is why are you upgrading in the first place 3600 isn't the best but it isn't terrible either.

 

Though since you have 64GB of RAM, I suppose gaming isn't the only thing you're doing?

As said above, your B550 is the only platform for those CPUs.  There is not "few platforms above B550" for Ryzen 5600x3d and 5800x3d.

 

Since you're in the US near a Microcenter, have you looked at their Ryzen 7700x deal at all?

Sorry, let me bit clear light video editing with some 3d modeling and light gaming. I was wondering what the best chipset for this?

Since it's "light" work and gaming, the 5600 is your best drop in value.  5800x3d if you want to max out your gaming potential with a couple more cores for the editing.

I did see a used AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D online for half Prince of retail value not 100 sure if I should upgrade the CPU i am still searching for the B550 platform. If i upgrade from AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Processor to 5800X3D I think there might be a slight performance, but I'm not 100 sure how fast it will be.

Do some looking on Youtube for comparisons or reviews.   It's a lot faster, but only you can figure out if it's worth it.
