RDP Not working in Win 10 pro

Lord Szechenyi
Go to solution Solved by Levent,

You can’t have RDP with no password.

I just set up a machine to be accessible via RDP on my local network.

So from my main PC (also Win 10) I try to connect to it and get this screen.

image.png.d1f725b65516bb7c725ccf25cf1e5453.png

Except the host machine has no password, and so when I type in nothing it just tells me that the logon attempt failed.

I even tried inputting the password of my computer to no avail.

Is this (yet again) some tomfoolery on Microsoft's part or is the UI unintuitive?

Yes, having RDP with no password is dumb.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
