I saw a MSI B760 Gaming Plus motherboard that supports up to 6800MHz for 160 USD. Is that motherboard any good?

Yup, for Intel platform, MSI is absolutely crushing the competition, especially in stress test and cooling for your CPU

Probably the only downside (it's a very niche nitpick) for this board, is that it only has two NVME slot and only has one heatsink for the NVME, while other brand such as Gigabyte Aorus has three NVME slot and heatsink for all NVME

For heatsink is actually really simple and cheap to buy on the after market, but even that is not necessary if you're using the other NVME slot for mass storage

So in summary, MSI B760 Gaming Plus is a really good choice without the most bells and whistle

I'm undecided between the Z790, Z690, and B760 mobos for my i5 13600KF CPU, as I'm concerned about investing an extra $80 for minimal performance improvements. My primary use will be gaming with occasional light video editing. My specs include 32GB DDR5 6400MHz RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. My budget is around $240. Any ideas? Your guidance will mean a lot! Thanks!

Depending on how you value CPU overclocking

i5-13600KF doesn't really give huge FPS advantage with overclock, so if you're budget conscious,  better to stick with motherboard without CPU overclock

Over 3 variant of motherboard Raptor lake, only Z790 is capable of CPU overclock

Z690 offers more lane for chipset, but the FPS difference and cooling compared to B760 is indistinguishable

So I would recommend B760, but please check on motherboard capability to overclock your RAM to 6400MHz

Because some budget B760 motherboard only support to 5600MHz
