i manned up and oced my gpu 70mhz on stocks clocks and seems stable, i will carry on but im wondering how to do memory oc

, you just crank up the frequency by 100~170 Hz with the Power limit at  around 80~100%, hit apply and you're good to go

it's not that difficult, what more depth do you need, just like you OCed the GPU,open GPU tweak, you grap the Mem clock slider and add around 170Hz, and set the power limit at 100, when Gaming with OCed Profile create a Fan Profile within 80~100% fan speed to keep cool and stable( although under 200Hz overclock on the Mem isn't that far) an it's good to go, what more do you need, tell me

no it's not, i think the 280X stock is around 1200Mhz, i think, so i told you to push it to 1400Mhz only, because you need beginner OC, the Maximum is around 1550+Mhz, if you want to know the max you can push it, check the LTT Graphics Cards OC Data Basehttp://linustechtips.com/main/topic/16152-the-gpu-overclocking-database/ and see what people are getting out of the 280X, for example, i pushed my 660Ti PE to 1.1Ghz on the Core and 1.75Ghz on the Mem
