A 1000$ Minecraft Server (not joking)

Budget (1000$ USD):

Country: USA

Games, Minecraft.

Other details, needs to be power efficient with a powerful cooler (heat is dreadful here)

I host a Minecraft server on a Kindle Fire 8 (10th gen) and will need an upgrade SOON

I have around 20 clients now, but in the last month we have gained seven new members
so seeing as I'm hitting the limits of this custom-cooled tablet (92mm pc fan drawing heat away from the CPU)

Here are your requirements
(note this Minecraft server is enormous to me and this upgrade is scary so please be kind I'm already facing 2 days of downtime to make this happen)

The data this server holds is mission-critical to this server running
I run nearly 24/7 and downtime is to be avoided here

500 GB should be acceptable as I run without mods and our world file is at 150MB right now)
(redundancy is needed here)

AMD or Intel I don't care a bit so long as there's little downtime

WIFI is a nice to have as I run locally and need both a wired and wireless connection (for redundancy)

ddr4 or ddr5 should work (32 / 64GB ram more is better)

I have a battery backup with 1.2kwhs (1200 watt-hours)
so that's taken care of!
I do have an RX 5500 4GB (non-XT) I could use for a video output

I do not run a Realm

I run a Minecraft world, and then that world is set to public and people join it
it's dead simple and it's set to friends only so I can control who joins that world

Hosting through a cloud service is not a option for me

Get 7800X3D and B650 board with something like Deepcool AK620 or be quiet Dark Rock 4 Pro. PSU - Seasonic 500 W is plenty. SSD - Crucial P5, Samsung 970 Evo/980 Pro or WD SN850X (all of them have DRAM cache, that is important). No need for GPU since 7800X3D has iGPU. Well ventilated case and you should be set. Can't make a PCPartPicker since i need to run now.

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.

Why would you use a gaming cpu with a server?

The 7800x3d is actually better for minecraft server hosting. It is singlethreaded unless you use paper mc I believe, so single core clock speed > core count.

The 7900 scored more than the 7800X3D in Geekbench 5
