please tell me you are intelligent enough to realise that the RENDERING to be done is LIGHT, not that the MACHINE has to be LIGHT !!

But a laptop is much lighter than a desktop. He could use a remote server to do any calculations or simulations that he needs.

Or just buy a good desktop PC that will serve him much better and call it a day, now please...go on.

Ahahaha I laughed more than I should've. I'll just stick with my rig then ;) and maybe get another 780 with the money I have.

make sure you check the one i posted on page 1 op...it has many upgraded parts you should consider...mostly the hyperthreaded xeon CPU!
