Well there's no point in restricting yourself to some shitty old graphics card for the sake of not showing up your shitty old CPU. It's time for an entirely new build, from the sound of it.

What is the total budget available to you to upgrade your PC?

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Yes it will "bottleneck," the CPU will hold back your performance before the RX 6600 XT is even making an effort. What I'm saying is that basically any card you can buy now will be bottlenecked by your ancient, shit CPU, so instead of restricting yourself to only wasting money on junk graphics cards, you need to think about upgrading your whole system.

So once again: What is your budget to put into getting a better PC?

This has nothing to do with anything.

how is that relevant?

you asked if your ancient cpu will bottleneck your semi modern gpu and the answer is YES YES IT WILL

Hope this was helpful.  (hint: upgrade that cpu)

the problem is they probably need new mobo, ram...?

not sure i don't really care about cpus, they're so cheap nowadays,  the only thing you gotta look out for is upgradability, hence i typically go AMD (my last intel was a pentium 1 lmao, the brand has no value to me ~)

Absolutely.

Past-gen Ryzen CPU/board/RAM combos are out there in the secondhand market for like 150 USD though.

PSU probably needs to be replaced at this point too, realistically.

But there's no point in trying to find a GPU slow enough to "match" the old CPU. You're just throwing away the money you've got.

Do you know any good CPUs under 120 that will work with my motherboard it's a h81m-p33 motherboard. (Ik it's ancient as shit.) I've got 16gb of ram so I don't think that will effect the performance of my GPU, correct me if I'm wrong but I think a new CPU would do the job by itself.

There are no "good" CPUs for that board now.
