Microswitches to replace double-clicky ones with

Mouse: Logitech MX Anywhere 2S

Problem: Random double-click on both LMB and RMB when pressed.

Any recommendations for replacements? I'd love to get something that will last longer than 2 years without issues like the Omrons that came originally installed in this mouse did.

This iFixIt post replaced their Omron switch with a different one manufactured in Japan (the original was manufactured in China).

Yeah, saw that post while googling this issue. It's switching Omron to Omron, which will still probably lead to issues described in original post.

Not gonna lie, this fix looks like it might take like 30 minutes out of your day, and it might occur again in TWO years.

It seems like you're looking for an unreasonable solution.

 

Surely you do weekly, or even daily, chores that take up significantly more time than something as trivial as this.

I know "whataboutism" is a terrible argument, but your mouse is an easy DIY fix for a 1-2 switches while loads of people buy gamer keyboards that are unserviceable and fail within months  

Again.. it's two years. I wouldn't even call it e-waste... just a typically disposable part like car brake pads or oil. Or devices with lithium batteries (i.e. phones).

D2F-01F is one of the options.

If you only took a bit of your time to read through the linked Reddit thread,
or watched the video, or at least looked at the description of the video that the Reddit thread was referencing...
