Cannot get a new pair of Corsair HS80s to output audio in Windows 10

I have installed ICue software, *thought* I let it update the firmware on the headphones, and have repeated this process including uninstalling and reinstalling software multiple times, nothing. The HS80 wireless is set as my audio output, volume is up, but nothing happens. In bluetooth mode I can connect them to my Mac in two clicks, but neither with a USB connection nor the wireless dongle, will make a working audio output in Windows. I have never used Corsair wireless products before, is there something I'm missing?

MSI B450 Gaming Plus

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

EVGA RTX 3060 Ti XC

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

WD 5400RPM 2TB

Corsair Carbide 300R

Arctic Fans 140mm x4 120mm x 1
