Hey trying to figure out how to get my ram to run at 3600MHz. I've tried XMP profile no luck still at 2133MHz, I've tried manually overclocking it no luck, Reset my cmos and no luck. BIOS is up to date.

Specs:

Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 AORUS Elite

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D

GPU: XFX Radeon RX 7900 XT

Where are you reading this figure?  If its Task Manager, it can get it wrong, use CPU-Z instead.

ASUS B650E-F GAMING WIFI + R7 7800X3D + 2x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-76  + ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) Backup: GL.iNet GL-X3000/ Spitz AX Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz) WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz)
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~1200Mbit down, 115Mbit up, variable)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

I have 6000mhz ram sticks, in bios it says its running 4800mhz,(i have XMP enabled) but bios usually doesn't update it for some reason. You're probably running the rated speed for your ram. But as the person said above use CPU-Z.

Does it boot into windows or does it blank screen/no post when you enable xmp?

If the former use cpuz, task manager is complete garbage at displaying specs sometimes

If the latter most convenient option would be to return the sticks or attempt manual oc with knowledge of the ram ic (via thaiphoon burner screenshot)

Or not do that. Not like its bad, but we got something more accurate and wont get fucked by W11 ring bus fix.
