Gtx 960 power problem

So I have a Gtx 960 and I am testing it but the problem is in gpu Z it shows 29 watts for board power but 0 watts for gpu chip power but the gpu is on max load but it is not preforming good. The temps are also fine. I have no clue can anyone help me?

If the performance is not good, it is possible that the chip uses almost no power.

Did you check in MSI Afterburner if everything is at it should ?

Yes I did I even set the power percent to 110. Should I try flashing a different 960 bios?

Are you running the stock BIOS ? I would not flash an alternative BIOS because the stock BIOS is supposed to work just fine.

Sometimes Windows updates or driver updates break the functionallity of older hardware. You can try uninstalling the last few updates and see if it fixes anything.

I never seen a stock BIOS becoming corrupted. This has very low chance of happening.

Is it performing like it should?

 

If yes it's just a bad sensor reading nothing to worry about

Well I think it is. Maybe it could be a bad sensor. I’ll test it more thank you for telling me

I'd test using passmark or 3dmark, as you can compare to other gtx 960s on there
