Hi guys, I've been pondering an idea for a little while. My apologies if this isn't in the correct sub-forum; I looked around, and I thought this was the best place to place this thread.

Anyway, here's my idea: I am in the market for a new computer. I would purchase this desktop from Newegg, and I would replace the power supply with a CX500 from Corsair and replace the GT 610 with my 750 Ti in my current desktop. I would also replace the cooler in the future as well if I wanted to overclock the 6300 in that rig.

Would I be saving any money by doing this? Is this a good idea?

No that's a bad idea @Konasumi

Alright, I can understand why you think that. I appreciate your response.

That was the plan, but I then thought about that idea. I was just wondering if it would be practical. Now looking it over again, I can see how it can be a bad idea. In the end, I will probably end up building my own rig.

You can definitely get better for the money if you built the system yourself.
