  1. I would like the New Razer Blade, as I would use the laptop for gaming.
  2. My signature is my old rig, forgot to remove it when I built my new one, which is in the OP. If I buy used, I can get either for around the same price. Thanks for the tip, overclocking isn't a priority so that's fine.
  3. What in your opinion makes the 390 the best choice?
  4. I know, I know. This question has been asked a million times already, but I would like to know what would work better for my use cases. This is an expensive purchase, so I wanna make sure I am making the best choice. Can't seem to make my mind on what to get. MAXIMUM limit is $310 USD including California tax. Amazon only; willing to buy used if needed. Gonna be using the card I get for gaming uses. Here's a list of games I play or am going to be playing: A Hat in Time (Unreal Engine 3) Yooka-Laylee American Truck Simulator TrackMania Turbo (Various Unity games) Rocket League Need for Speed 2015 I don't care about NVIDIA vs AMD, or the whole 3.5GB thing on the 970. Would like to get 60FPS at all times on high to max settings. I'm interested in overclocking, but nothing extreme. Just want what will play the games I want to play the best. I'm coming from a GTX 750 Ti. System Information: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 @3.4GHz 8GB DDR3 @1600MHz MSI H81M-P33 MATX Case EVGA 600B Power Supply 1080P display, 60hz
  5. Didn't seem to work. Still 2 cores, 4 threads.
  6. Hello, I just installed my Intel Xeon E3 1231 V3 into my MSI H81M-P33, and I booted my machine to discover that it's only using 2 cores and 4 threads, instead of the normal 4 cores and 8 threads. How can I fix this? I looked around in the BIOS and didn't really find any helpful info.
  7. Thanks, hope you enjoy it! Really excited to get mine.
  8. Just bought the board brand new yesterday.
  9. Hello, I have a MSI H81M-P33 and an Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3. Will these two work together out of the box without having to update the BIOS? Thanks!
  10. Hello, I am considering upgrading my E5300 to a Q9650/Q9550 soon, and I would like to know if it will work properly with my system, which has an Asus IPIBL-LB. I have heard that some motherboards from some pre-built systems need a BIOS update to work with the new chip, so I want to make sure. Do I also need to worry about power, since Q9650's max TDP is 30W higher than the current E5300? I have a 300W PSU in my system and can upgrade if needed. Also, should I worry about cooling? It's the stock cooler that came with my desktop, and I have Arctic Silver 5 paste I plan on using with it. It cools my Pentium just fine, with the load temperature for it being around 43C.
  11. This is my entry! If I were to win this CPU, I would most likely sell it. I don't have an X99 motherboard or DDR4 memory, and I could use the money from that to build myself a new PC.
  12. The closest thing to Forza on PC right now is Assetto Corsa, I believe.
