My build is running a bit hot, but still within normal running temps.

Linux Mint 21.2

CoolerMaster Q300L Case with custom paint Florescent Pink.

Ryzen 5 5500

MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX

Stock AMD CPU Cooler

16gb memory (2x8gb) 3600mhz

Seagate M.2 -2tb SSD

XFX RX 580 8gb GTS XXX Edition

Aresgame AGV500 PSU

Front mount 120mm Fan intake

Rear mount 120mm Fan exhaust

Stock Cooler is being replaced with Cooler Master Hyper H412R. AGV500 PSU is being replaced with Cooler Master MWE 650W ATX.

I will be adding a second 120mm fan to the front intake and a 120mm fan on the top exhaust.

The original build was with i5-9400, ASRock B365M-HDV, 16gb Patriot Viper 2666, XFX RX 580 GTS XXX Edition, Seagate 2tb M.2 ssd.

That particular type of case is a little oven. Ventilation is poor. It's even worse on the ATX version, which puts a power supply right where your intake fans should be. Additional fans will help, but don't plan on using that case for a heavily OC'd gaming build anytime soon.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Thanks for input guys.

I was on a very very tight budget when I first Built this PC...mostly from parts I had laying around. I just recently Upgraded to Ryzen 5 build and waiting on new PSU. I don't OC so that's is not going to be an issue.

Remove the side panel or dril cirular holes with a metal hole saw in the case.

Its what I did to repurpose one. Instantlt fixed the airflow issues and was safe since it still has the magnetic mesh

If there's a vent on the bottom of your case then flip your PSU over so that it's drawing in air from outside of the case, right now it's stealing cool air from the GPU.

I also hate to say it but I think you plugged a lot of your case mesh with the paint and that's not helping things.
