Heavily under-spend on GPU, overpriced stuff replaced.

If you use CPU to do video editing, then I guess why not, but 4060 is not going to hold up for 1440p in the long run, for current games maybe.

And don't pay $100 for windows, plenty of sellers sell them for less than $50.

Plenty of reputable sellers for windows keys, people recommend kinguin mostly. I personally have never paid for windows key tho.

NLE = Non-Linear Editing. Its one of the more common system of editing a content, hence why I ask for your apps, I should've specify video editor instead.

Now the big ticket. 3060 12GB or 3060Ti is enough for both 1080p gaming and video editing, and it would be rock bottom cheap. But considering that Filmora GPU acceleration is kind of meh, you could go for RX 6650 XT instead which would be my pick for 1080p gaming. But if you are considering to transition to 1440p very soon, then either go for RX 6800XT, or 4070.

I mean feel free, although its not as significant of a price cut as you might think. And some video editing products like Handbrake already uses the spare memory bandwidth, which nets 25-30% performance boost.

I personally would go for 2TB TLC Nvme+4TB TLC SATA instead. 1TB isn't enough for more than like 2 4K projects at a time, and the QLC doesn't really like getting back to back writes because that thing wears out so much faster than TLC. And for warm storage, SATA 3 is still a plenty.

Not big with recommending used unless the budget is tight but glad you are comfy with it. Check 3080Ti at this range.

Used 3090 or new 4070, paired with a 12 or 13gen i7. Everything else looks good, including that case.
