But yeah, it might be faster, depends if you will notice the fasterer-ness.

Probably not too noticeable for internet itself, but definitely noticeable inside your own network. I.E, I rarely use wireless since I want the gigabit speeds to my NAS.

If you do any type of online gaming or stream HD movies, there is no question but to run the cable. If you only do web surfing and that type of stuff, running a cable I think is pointless.
