How does it feel going from 27" 1440p display to 32"?

Gessler555

I'm coming from a 27-inch 75hz Asus VZ27AQ and plan to buy a 32-inch 165hz Samsung Odyssey G5 (still deciding on flat or curved panel). The idea being to increase the immersion experience.

The GPU I have (1080Ti) and the one I'm planning to buy (4070Ti) cannot realistically drive 4K even with DLSS in the kind of games I want to play (Cyberpunk & Witcher 3 EE with RT on) so I don't want to waste money on a 4K display. What is bugging me however is the concern that the drop in pixels-per-inch might reduce the fidelity of the experience on a 32" panel, now that I'm used to 27" 1440p. So asking for opinions from people who have done such a thing - will it really be noticeable or can I just pull the trigger?

I sit at roughly 22-24 inches away from the screen.

at that close of range sitting you will likely see pixel density issue and things being slightly more blurry and not as sharp as a result of stretching the pixels to fix a 32" size over 27". 27" is the recommended size for 1440p monitors for pixel density and sharpness.
