A 780ti for single GPU or dual r9 290's for a dual GPU setup.

My 780 gets 60 FPS at 1440P. Get a 290 or 780 and a really good CPU.

If you are playing a lot (this game relies a lot on the server as well) get a 4670K or, even better, a 4770K.

Yep. My 3770K handles the game amazingly as well.

played a little arma 3 last night with my new 770. my 4670k at 4.4 ghz was working the whole time but its the only game i know of that uses 40%-70% of the gpu at all times. i was getting 30 fps with custom max settings.

You'd be fine with anything at like a 760 or better. Arma 3 is an extremely cpu bound game.

i second that, don't get a fast GPU expecting to improve performance that much in ARMA3, a fast intel CPU is what you need...anything more than a GTX 770 will be a waste even for core i7-4960K overclocked..
